St. Joseph’s Primary School is thrilled to be incorporating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into our curriculum.
We believe that STEM education is essential for preparing our students for the future, as it fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills. To incorporate STEM into our teaching, we integrate it into our Discovery Based Learning (DBL) process, which allows students to learn through hands-on experiences and investigation.
Additionally, we hold a STEM gala day, once a term, where students from all grades complete STEM challenges as a whole school. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together and see the children’s work in action. We are excited about the benefits of STEM education and the opportunities it provides for our students to develop a lifelong love of learning.
