St. Joseph’s Primary School offers a Japanese Language program that teaches students conversational Japanese and an appreciation for Japanese culture.
Students from Prep to Year 6 learn to speak and listen in Japanese through engaging activities such as songs, games, and role-playing. The program emphasises communication skills and cultural awareness, providing students with a fun and engaging learning experience.
In addition to language skills, our Japanese Language program provides students with the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, including food, clothing, and customs. Our partner school in Japan allows students to practise their conversational skills with native speakers through online meetings and letter writing, providing a unique cultural exchange experience.
The Japanese Language program at St. Joseph’s Primary School is designed to give students a solid foundation in conversational Japanese and an appreciation for Japanese culture. It helps promote communication skills, cultural awareness, and global citizenship among our students, preparing them to be global citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
